About The Position

NAMIC, a division of Medline, is seeking motivated individuals to join their growing team.   • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Nice To Haves

  • High School or GED Level of Degree in the general education field of study preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate data entry transactions within MRP system and record information on Discrete jobs for material traceability.
  • Read and interpret work schedules, Kanban, Discrete jobs, bills of materials, pick lists, drawings, and SOPs.
  • Operate various equipment to meet quality standards, production plans, and cost objectives.
  • Perform machine changeovers.
  • Perform minor adjustments and troubleshooting to maintain part specifications according to SOPs and operational codes.
  • Assist in the preventive maintenance (PM) of assigned machinery.
  • Independently start up and operate equipment as per applicable procedures.
  • Recognize technical problems and request support from the machine shop or engineering.
  • Provide feedback on processes and machine performance to engineering and manufacturing management.
  • Train other machine operators as requested.
  • Review procedures for clarity, completeness, and correctness.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Set up workstations with necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Coordinate with Production Supervisors/Coordinators to meet production requirements.
  • Operate bar coding and other computerized equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory/legal requirements.
  • Build quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance with all quality requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
