About The Position

The Machine Operator controls machinery used to mold ice cream cakes in a safe, sanitary, cost-effective, and efficient manner while meeting company food safety and quality standards. The role focuses on maximizing product quality and attractiveness, achieving individual output goals, and supporting the team in meeting production goals. The operator also assists the Casting Lead in supervising cake molding on the assigned line.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of machine operator experience required.
• Basic computer skills, including Excel and Word.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative and use sound judgment in day-to-day decision-making.
• Punctual and reliable attendance.
• Ability to organize and communicate with personnel at all levels.
• Flexible and able to manage others.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent English communication skills required.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual speaker is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent is listed as preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare casting materials and set up workstations.
• Ensure equipment operates to efficiency standards while producing high-quality ice cream products safely, sanitarily, cost-effectively, and efficiently in accordance with food safety and quality standards.
• Perform tasks as needed to ensure smooth process flow.
• Confirm the department follows safety practices and identify and correct potential hazards.
• Assist the Casting Lead as needed, including with supervision of molding cakes on the assigned line.
• Comply with GMP, safety, and food safety standards at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
