Machine Operator
About The Position
A Production Associate is an entry-level role in the bakery and a member of the production team focused on safely and consistently producing high-quality products. The work includes operating high-powered machinery, packaging products, mixing ingredients, and moving or stacking materials and equipment used to produce fresh baked products. Associates examine products and reject those that do not meet specifications, monitor and address issues to prevent and reduce waste, complete required company-approved training and audits, and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices, food safety, and superior quality standards.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- 1–3 years of prior manufacturing experience; food manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stack and/or carry pans, ingredient containers, and similar items.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Comfort working in a warm environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
