About The Position

AROW is hiring Machine Operators for VMill, VMC, Bender, CNC, End Mill, and Saw operations. The weekend shift runs Friday through Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with $2.00 differential pay. The role involves setting up, operating, and monitoring manufacturing equipment according to production requirements. Operators read blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations; monitor quality and efficiency; adjust machine settings to maintain dimensions and tolerances; and inspect finished parts with precision measuring instruments. Duties may be expanded as management deems necessary. The employee must meet the described physical demands, including handling tools and controls, lifting various weights, standing for extended periods, working overhead, and performing repetitive functions. Requirements

Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
Ability to assemble and fabricate components.
Understanding of tooling and tooling requirements for different machining operations.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
Reliability and proven attendance at past jobs.

Experience working in a production or fabrication environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment according to production requirements.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations.
Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
Adjust machine settings as necessary to maintain proper dimensions and tolerances.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure they conform to specifications.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary.
