About The Position

PADNOS is seeking a Manufacturing Machine Operator / Equipment Operator for its Fremont metals location. The operator works with multiple balers to bale metals and safely operates equipment to support the handling and movement of materials. The position involves working inside a manufacturing plant throughout the day, where machinery can make the environment loud and temperatures may be hot or cold depending on the weather. Required personal protective equipment includes a hard hat, safety glasses, high-visibility clothing, steel-toed shoes, and gloves when needed. The role is intended for someone interested in learning, growing, and improving while supporting production goals, safety, and quality. Mechanical experience is helpful because equipment can break down, and operators may troubleshoot issues before calling maintenance. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with occasional weekends. PADNOS describes itself as a full-service recycling company serving consumer and industrial clients throughout the United States. The company offers competitive wages and benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance; tuition reimbursement; first-time home-buying assistance; a 401(k) match and profit sharing; and performance-driven bonuses.
