About The Position

The Machine Operator - Wire Respooling operates wire respooling equipment to transfer wire from one spool to another while maintaining quality, accuracy, and production efficiency. The role ensures wire is wound according to customer specifications and company standards while following safety procedures. This position supports efficient manufacturing operations and helps ensure customers receive wire products that meet exact specifications.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate wire respooling machines according to production schedules and work orders.
Load and unload wire spools using appropriate material handling equipment.
Monitor machine operation to ensure proper wire tension, alignment, and winding patterns.
Inspect wire and finished spools for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
Measure and verify wire lengths, spool sizes, and labeling requirements.
Perform routine machine adjustments and basic preventive maintenance.
Complete production documentation and inventory transactions accurately.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Communicate production issues and equipment concerns to supervisors and maintenance personnel.
