About The Position

The Machine Operator III operates complex machinery in a manufacturing environment to support smooth and efficient production. The role involves monitoring production output and quality, handling materials with overhead cranes, performing routine equipment maintenance, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. The position requires reliable attendance and may require regular or flexible hours or shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.

Requirements

A minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
Valid crane certification.
Frequent communication with others to exchange information.
Frequent repetitive motions that may involve the wrists, hands, or fingers.
Frequent movement to accomplish tasks or move between worksites.
Ability to frequently lift or move objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.
Ability to remain stationary, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
Ability to think and process information and maintain concentration and focus on tasks.
Use of required personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

Operate machinery according to standard operating procedures.
Monitor production output and quality to meet specifications.
Operate overhead cranes for material handling.
Operate machinery such as flash welders, roll formers, and angle masters.
Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment as required.
Lift or move heavy objects.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Adhere to safety protocols.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Maintain regular, reliable, punctual, and consistent attendance; work regular or flexible hours or shifts, overtime, and weekends as required.
