About The Position
The Machine Operator II operates machinery and inspects machined components using precision measuring equipment while maintaining accurate production records and maintenance logs. The role follows site-specific quality systems and processes, records scrap, maintenance requests, and production documentation, and operates simple manufacturing equipment. The operator demonstrates machining and mechanical aptitude, learns new tasks as needed, and may train others on operational or documentation procedures. The position also involves reporting safety concerns, production issues, and documentation errors, collaborating with peers, functional departments, and visitors, and meeting scheduled hours and overtime requirements.
