About The Position

This role involves operating and monitoring machinery, including PLCs and HMIs, to adjust material requirements and perform assembly tasks. The operator will be responsible for manually loading materials, orienting tanks, and performing equipment changeovers and minor adjustments. Routine preventative maintenance and adherence to quality standards are essential. The position requires the ability to work from instructions, maintain a clean work area, and observe safety regulations. The work environment may involve exposure to high noise levels, fumes, and airborne particles.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Ability to work from written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to maintain good housekeeping in work area.
• Ability to observe all departmental safety requirements.
• Continuous lifting of 5-25 lbs.
• Frequent lifting of 25-60lbs.
• Occasional lifting of 60+ lbs.
• Continuous standing, bending, walking and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor PLC-controlled machinery.
• Use Human/Machine Interface (HMI) to adjust material requirements.
• Manually load materials from floor and part bins.
• Orient tanks.
• Perform other assembly tasks as needed.
• Perform equipment changeovers and make minor adjustments.
• Make minor adjustments, set ups, and assist maintenance with major repairs.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Maintain quality standards according to specifications.
• Work from written or verbal instructions.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the work area.
• Observe all departmental safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
