About The Position

Join Amcor as a Machine Assistant and play a key role in producing high-quality products that protect what’s important. You’ll be part of a team that ensures safety and quality standards are met and contribute to a team focused on collaboration and continuous improvement. This role involves assisting on production lines, ensuring jobs run in accordance with specifications, performing quality compliance checks, working with operators to maximize machine efficiency, and maintaining cleanliness in the work area.

Requirements

Ability read, understand, and follow customer specifications
Must have basic computer skills to complete tasks in operator software
Required to have visual acuity to perform visual inspection including the use of measurement devices and ability to identify and distinguish colors

Nice To Haves

Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
Forklift experience preferred

Responsibilities

Assist on production lines that produce quality products.
Ensure jobs are running in accordance with customer, manufacturing, and printing specifications.
Quality compliance of products including verifying they are free of defects.
Work with operators to maximize machine efficiency including minimizing job changeovers and down time.
Maintains cleanliness in work area during shift and shift transitions.
