Machine Operator/Assistant
About The Position
International Paper is seeking a Machine Operator/Assistant for a full-time, hourly position with a 6pm-6am shift on a 2-2-3 schedule. This role involves counting and stacking finished product, reading factory orders, accurately reading gauges and test equipment, utilizing basic shop math, inspecting, and completing quality and administrative documents. The position also includes clean-up functions such as blowing down the machine, wiping shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, and picking up and shredding scrap.
