About The Position

We know that the most important component of a thriving business is a thriving team. We are currently searching for 1st Shift Machine Assistant for our Jackson, MI location. As a Machine Assistant you can expect to produce corrugated or chip packaging products for our customers in coherence with promoting the corporate vision, mission statement, and core values.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents.
Work safely.
Previous experience in warehouse or packaging environment.

Nice To Haves

Basic math skills.
Ability to properly use and understand the required measurement equipment including tape measures, micrometers, and other tools as required by specific jobs.

Responsibilities

Produce corrugated or chip packaging products for our customers in coherence with promoting the corporate vision, mission statement, and core values.
Understand machine set-up, machine runs, plant data entry, handwork, or assembly assignments.
