About The Position

Assemble small machines in a clean, air-conditioned assembly area. Build components and assemblies according to TRAK Machine Tools’ engineering, quality, and time-standard specifications. The role requires good time management and organization, mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift objects up to 40 pounds.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Good mechanical skills and ability to follow written work instructions.
• Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Good manual dexterity.
• Ability to lift objects up to 40 pounds.
• 1–3 years of automotive, machine shop, or similar work experience.
• Graduate of a machine tool technology program, machinist apprenticeship program, or trade school program.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts and assemblies according to engineering drawings, specifications, and written work instructions.
• Meet TRAK Machine Tools’ time standards for assembly.
• Maintain TRAK Machine Tools’ quality standards.
• Work independently and cooperatively with others.
• Work with the supervisor to implement process improvements.
