About The Position

Columbus is seeking a seasoned integration architect with deep expertise in Infor M3 CloudSuite. The role designs, develops, implements, and supports integration solutions within the Infor M3 CloudSuite ecosystem, drawing on hands-on experience delivering integrations for complex ERP implementation, migration, and enhancement projects. The Integration Architect works with Technology Solution Architects, Business Consultants, and client technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions that connect M3 with internal applications, external systems, third-party platforms, and legacy technologies. This is a remote opportunity that can be located anywhere in the United States, with travel of up to 30% to provide client services. The role participates in integration design, development, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, cutover, go-live, and post-production stabilization. It also coordinates dependencies across project workstreams and provides technical knowledge transfer to client teams.

Requirements

At least 7 years of consulting experience with Infor M3, including multiple implementation, upgrade, or optimization engagements involving M3 finance.
At least 7 years of ERP technical consulting or integration development experience, with significant hands-on experience in Infor M3 CloudSuite.
At least 3 completed full life cycle implementations on Infor M3.
Demonstrated experience with Infor ION, Infor API Gateway, and Infor M3 APIs/MI Transactions.
Strong understanding of BOD structure, publishing, subscriptions, event-driven messaging, and integration patterns within Infor OS.
Experience configuring and troubleshooting Infor ION Connectors, including supported application and technology connectors for database, file-based, and web-service integration patterns.
Strong experience with API integration patterns, JSON, XML, HTTP/S, authentication, and related standards.
Experience with SQL, data mapping, transformation logic, extraction, validation, and integration-related data processing.
Practical understanding of integration security, service accounts, authorization, connectivity, and deployment configuration.
Ability to travel up to 30% to provide services to clients.

Experience with Infor Data Lake, Data Fabric, and data extraction or replication technologies.
Experience with M3-related Java development, scripting, SQL, or other relevant programming technologies.
Familiarity with Infor M3 database structures, business logic, and data models.
Experience with migration utilities, technical data conversion, or integration-related cutover activities.

Responsibilities

Analyze integration requirements with Business Consultants, client stakeholders, and technical teams.
Design, develop, configure, test, and deploy integrations between Infor M3 CloudSuite and internal or external systems.
Develop integration solutions using Infor OS technologies, including Infor ION, API Gateway, and M3 APIs.
Build and maintain API-based, event-driven, message-based, and batch integrations.
Develop and maintain data transformation, mapping, validation, and error-handling components.
Obtain Technology Solution Architect review and approval of technical integration approaches before development.
Work with the Business Consultant responsible for each requirement to resolve functional specification questions during development.
Escalate proposed changes to approved integration architecture or technical approaches to the Technology Solution Architect.
Develop and execute unit and integration testing, including end-to-end data-flow validation.
Troubleshoot integration defects, API errors, failed transactions, performance issues, and data inconsistencies.
Support system integration testing, user acceptance testing, cutover, go-live, and post-production stabilization.
Implement monitoring, logging, error handling, and recovery mechanisms.
Collaborate with technical and functional teams to resolve cross-system defects.
Produce and maintain technical specifications, integration mappings, deployment documentation, and support procedures.
Participate in integration design workshops, technical planning, estimation, and sprint execution.
Coordinate integration dependencies across functional workstreams, third-party vendors, and client technical teams.
Follow solution architecture, development standards, security requirements, and change management procedures.
Identify integration risks, technical constraints, and dependencies early in the project lifecycle.
Provide technical knowledge transfer to client support and development teams.
