About The Position

The LVN Scheduler is responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living to promote resident independence and dignity, as well as facility scheduling. This role involves direct resident care, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and ensuring resident safety and cleanliness. Additionally, the position is responsible for developing and maintaining monthly and daily schedules, replacing staff for absences, tracking attendance, and potentially working on the floor as a CNA or CMA. Participation in an on-call schedule is also required.

Requirements

Current LVN license
CPR certified required; 30 days will be given to complete a course and get certified
Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal or written instructions in English
Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner
Ability to work flexibly and positively with intermittent interruptions
Ability to speak clearly and provide educational skills that are conducive to a good learning environment in training staff on skill related work; good customer service

Nice To Haves

2 years nurse experience in long term care/skilled nursing

Responsibilities

Bathe, shower, shampoo, shave, comb hair, dress appropriately, and perform nail care of any residents assigned
Follow resident assignment schedule as made out by the charge nurse
Lift, move, and transfer residents as required
Answer call lights in a timely manner
Assist or feed residents
Keep resident clean and dry, toileting or providing incontinent care
Provide supportive, protective, and safe environments for residents
Monthly schedule development based on facility budgeted PPD
Complete and post daily schedule
Complete daily staffing sheet postings and maintain one year of postings
Work to replace staff for PTO/sick requests, call in's, absenteeism
Track attendance of clinical team members
Work on the floor as a CNA or CMA as needed
Participate in on call schedule as assigned
Understand and adhere to the guidelines of “Residents Rights” and assure resident safety
Other duties as assigned
