GAP is the longest established gastroenterology practice in the Piedmont Triad area, an independent, physician-owned GI practice. The practice evaluates new patients, performs consultations, and conducts follow-up visits for chronic gastrointestinal conditions. Their offices draw and assess labs, administer injections, and monitor medication therapies. They offer on-site infusion services, and clinical staff assist with various in-office procedures. GAP also schedules appointments for outpatient screening, diagnostic, and/or treatment procedures. Their endoscopy centers are physician-owned outpatient ambulatory surgical centers specializing in colon cancer screening and prevention, as well as other procedures including endoscopy and Interstim Bowel Control Therapy. The ideal candidate for the Appointment Scheduler role will answer the phone with a positive attitude, support team efforts, and represent physicians by screening and routing incoming telephone calls, recording and transmitting messages, and scheduling, receiving, and announcing scheduled patients and visitors, as well as screening unscheduled patients and visitors and scheduling appointments for consultations and procedures.
