About The Position
The LVN/LPN provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice and in accordance with state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LVN/LPN helps maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care, and improve the overall patient experience in the medical-surgical setting.
Requirements
- Current and valid state license.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintained thereafter.
- IV certification upon hire, where required by the state.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care within the scope of practice and in accordance with state requirements.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Help maintain patient safety, provide comfort and care, and improve the overall patient experience in the medical-surgical setting.
