About The Position
Tryfacta is seeking an RN-Med Surg/Tele for a client in Columbus, Ohio, for a 16-week contract assignment. The position is scheduled for night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week, from 19:00 to 07:30. The start date is November 30, 2026, and the stated pay rate is $63–$70 per hour. The nurse is required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of RN medical-surgical/telemetry experience.
- BLS certification.
- EPIC experience required.
- Skills in dysrhythmia interpretation, port access, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care and management, PICC line management, IV starts, assisting with chest tube insertion/removal, HFNC, and ABG interpretation.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in a medical-surgical/telemetry setting.
- Float to units of equivalent or lower acuity.
- Interpret dysrhythmias.
- Access ports.
- Manage arterial lines, central lines, and PICC lines.
- Administer blood products.
- Start IVs.
- Assist with chest tube insertion and removal.
- Work with high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC).
- Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs).
