About The Position
The Licensed Vocational Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills within the scope of practice. The role supports patients’ psychosocial, physical, and general care needs and meets the communication needs of patients and their families. The nurse performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. In the emergency room setting, the role requires knowledge of EMTALA regulations and the triage process.
Requirements
- Current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- IV certification upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care within the scope of practice.

- Meet the communication needs of patients and their families.
