About The Position

Land Rover Alexandria is seeking dedicated Luxury Automotive Technicians to support its growing service department and provide customers with exceptional experiences. The role is suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, professional workplace. Technicians perform vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs, communicate additional service needs and repair estimates to Service Advisors, and complete warranty work to manufacturer specifications.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of Service Technician experience.
• Strong diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Positive, friendly attitude and a customer-service mentality.
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Certifications and experience with franchise levels are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor when additional service is needed so customers can be informed.
• Provide estimates of the time needed for additional repairs.
• Perform warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
