Lumper/Unloader (2nd Shift)
About The Position
Freight Breakers LLC is hiring dependable, motivated Warehouse Lumpers for a fast-paced furniture distribution center in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a full-time, production-pay position unloading heavy furniture from inbound trailers. Earnings depend on productivity and performance; the posting states potential weekly earnings of $800–$1,200 or more. The work is hot and physically demanding, with trailers that can become extremely hot, especially in summer. Employees repeatedly handle heavy, bulky furniture and remain physically active throughout the shift. Training is provided for the right candidates.
Requirements
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to repeatedly lift and maneuver 50–100+ lbs.
- Comfort working in hot trailers and a physically demanding environment.
- Ability to stay physically active for the entire shift.
- Team-oriented attitude.
- Dependable and motivated.
Nice To Haves
- Warehouse, moving, unloading, or physical labor experience is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Unload heavy furniture from hot inbound trailers.
- Repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and maneuver furniture weighing 50–100+ lbs.
- Move and stage heavy furniture throughout the warehouse.
- Work with a team to safely unload trailers and meet daily production goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow safety procedures and company policies.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
