About The Position

Responsible for moving product with a forklift or pallet jack from a trailer to another area of the warehouse dock during the receiving process. The role observes all safety regulations and ensures quality standards are met while maintaining efficient product flow. The employee functions as a team member within the department and organization and performs other duties as assigned to best serve the company.

Performance Foodservice is PFG’s broadline distributor, serving local customers such as independent restaurants and hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries. Its team of sales representatives, chefs, consultants, and other experts builds close customer relationships and provides advice on operations, menu development, product selection, and operational strategies.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 6–12 months of warehouse and/or production work experience.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of warehouse and/or production work experience.

Responsibilities

• Move product from a trailer to the appropriate dock staging area safely and efficiently.
• Sort and segregate pallets or product as necessary.
• Check product for damage and alert receivers when necessary.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
