About The Position

Valvoline Instant Oil Change is hiring an entry-level Lube Technician to provide customer service and perform preventative maintenance services that help keep guests safe on the road. No previous automotive experience is required; the company provides hands-on training. The position is located at 9219 E Sprague Ave, Spokane Valley, WA 99206. Training covers oil changes; checking and refilling fluids; tire rotations; battery testing and replacement; inspecting and replacing lights and wipers; 18-point maintenance checks; and other preventative maintenance services. The role requires reading and understanding written and digital training materials, safety procedures, labels, and operational instructions, as well as English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking. The work involves standing for up to eight hours, climbing stairs, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, crouching, bending, twisting, working with hands above the head, and working in a non-climate-controlled environment. Weekend availability is likely, but employees do not work late nights or holidays.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests.
Perform oil changes.
Check and refill vehicle fluids.
Rotate tires.
