About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and lubrication procedures.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various physical positions for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Technical skills daily to perform precise oil changes and lubrication services, ensuring vehicles operate smoothly and safely.
• Strong mechanical aptitude allows the technician to identify potential vehicle issues during routine inspections and communicate these effectively to customers or team members.
• Customer service skills are essential for explaining services and building trust with clients, contributing to a positive service experience.
• Time management and organizational skills help the technician maintain workflow efficiency and keep the work area clean and compliant with safety regulations.
• Ability to operate service equipment safely and troubleshoot minor mechanical problems is critical to performing the job effectively.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Lube Technician or in a similar automotive service role.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification or equivalent.
• Familiarity with computerized service systems and inventory management.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, lubrication, and other routine maintenance services on customer vehicles according to manufacturer specifications.
• Inspect vehicles for potential issues such as fluid leaks, tire wear, and other maintenance needs, and communicate findings to customers or service advisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of used oil and other materials in compliance with environmental regulations.
• Operate service equipment safely and efficiently, including lifts, oil dispensers, and hand tools.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, explaining services performed, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
