About The Position

Responsible for preventative maintenance service and lube system repairs on heavy construction equipment while maintaining positive interactions with customers. This role requires the ability to operate and inspect machines/equipment to gain access for lubrication and PM services, completing all services accurately, safely, and in a timely manner to meet productivity goals. The technician must be self-motivated, reliable, and willing to work in all weather conditions and environments, possessing a positive attitude and excellent communication skills. Safely operating and maintaining a company lube truck is essential, as is continuously researching and learning to improve knowledge and abilities as machine models change. The position requires the ability to develop and adjust work schedules as needed to accommodate job requirements.

Requirements

Must possess own tools or willing to purchase tools.
Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue and to effectively jump, sprint or throw an object.
Ability to comprehend safety, service, and parts manuals.
Able to climb in, on, and around equipment, be flexible for awkward reaches and positions.
Must have a clean driving record!
GED or equivalent and 2 to 3 years of related experience or combination of training and experience with Caterpillar, John Deere, Volvo, etc.
Valid Driver’s License and safe driving record required.
2-3+ years automotive/mechanical work experience required.

Nice To Haves

Current CDL license
Experience with John Deere, Caterpillar, John Deere, Volvo, etc. preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely operate, drive, and maintain company lube truck.
Continuously research and learn as required to improve knowledge and abilities as machine models change.
Develop own work schedule and adjust when needed to accommodate job needs.
Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.
Work outside in inclement weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, dampness and humidity.
