About The Position

K&M Development is a franchisee for Take 5 Oil Change, the fastest growing quick lube brand in the US. Take 5 is about giving our customers fast and friendly service through our “stay in your car” drive-thru format. We are actively seeking new team members from all backgrounds to join us in opening several new stores across South and North Dakota. Whether you have automotive experience, or not, we have a compelling opportunity for you! Are you a people person? Outgoing and positive attitude? Like working as part of a strong team? We will train you how to change oil, replace wiper blades/air filters, fill air in tires, and other light maintenance services and become a customer service maniac in the process. Our employees are successful coming from all backgrounds and experience levels. Though our services are auto related, our culture has a customer service focus like restaurants or retail environments.

Requirements

• Must be able to physically maneuver in and out of a shallow 3' deep pit used to position our technicians safely under our customers’ cars.
• Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds, to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities that involve holding, grasping, pulling and turning.
• Reliable transportation to/from work.

Nice To Haves

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• Strong retail and customer-facing (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assist the customer in selecting oil type and other services
• Perform engine oil and oil filter changes
• Inspect and top off automotive fluids
• Wash windshield and adjust tire pressure
• Perform coolant exchanges
• Replace air/cabin filters and windshield wipers
• Process payment for services performed
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the shop floor
• Maintain the store organization and cleanliness
• Utilize Take 5’s extensive internal resources to pursue your own growth path
