About The Position
Germain Nissan is seeking an Automotive Lube Technician to perform oil changes, tire rotations, and diagnose/repair malfunctions. The technician will also communicate with the parts department and Service Advisors regarding parts and repair status, and participate in manufacturer training. Safety and professionalism are key aspects of this role.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Polite, professional, team player
- Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and tire rotations.
- Diagnose cause of any malfunction and performs repair services as needed.
- Communicates with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
- Communicates with Service Advisors immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
- Participates in manufacturer sponsored training programs, schools, and events.
- Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
