About The Position

The Lube Technician is an entry-level position responsible for learning and safely performing a variety of services on customers’ vehicles while contributing to the team’s success. Technicians are trained in the company’s methods for job acceleration and career growth, while maintaining excellent customer service and technical and mechanical skills. The role is open to entry-level candidates as well as skilled Lube Technicians who want to learn and grow.

The position also includes general center maintenance and cleaning, completion of required training, and attendance at team meetings as required. Other duties may be assigned. Uniform shirts, a jacket, and a belt are provided. Applications are reviewed on a continuous basis. Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to safely and properly use mechanical tools without damaging vehicles.
• Demonstrate self-accountability, teamwork, willingness, and ability to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform general vehicle maintenance, including replacing air and cabin filters, light bulbs, and windshield wipers.
• Check and adjust under-hood fluid levels as necessary.
• Test, service, and replace vehicle batteries.
• Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
• Perform visual safety checks and look for fluid leaks.
• Follow industry safety guidelines and perform essential duties without damaging vehicles.
• Attend work on time and maintain accurate time records.
• Perform basic shop maintenance and daily cleaning.
• Use a computer and register at a basic level.
• Follow established grooming standards and uniform guidelines.
• Support a respectful and healthy workplace environment.
• Perform general center maintenance and cleaning, including mopping, washing windows, mowing lawns, clearing litter, removing snow and ice, and cleaning restrooms and other customer and employee areas as applicable to the location.
• Complete all required training for the position.
• Attend team meetings as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
