About The Position

As an Entry-Level Lube Technician at Valvoline Instant Oil Change, you will work with a friendly, collaborative team to provide customer service and perform preventative maintenance that helps keep guests safe on the road. No previous automotive experience is required; the company provides hands-on training through its award-winning program. Training covers oil changes, checking and refilling fluids, tire rotations, battery testing and replacement, inspecting and replacing lights and wipers, 18-point maintenance checks, and other preventative maintenance services. The role involves working in a non-climate-controlled environment and requires the ability to read and understand written and digital training materials, safety procedures, labels, and operational instructions. Schedule flexibility is needed, and weekend availability is likely. Late-night hours and holidays are not worked.

Requirements

Ability to review, read, and understand written and digital training materials, safety procedures, labels, and operational instructions.
Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to crouch, bend, twist, and work with hands above the head.
Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests.
