Requirements
- Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
- 1+ years of experience as an express/quick lube technician or completion of an accredited automotive program.
- Comfort in operating several types of cars, light trucks, and vans, with an ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
- Comfort in navigating computer and dealership technologies.
- Willingness to participate in professional development opportunities.
- Adept to handle high-volume and adapt to our needs.
- Have a desire to grow with us in this automotive industry
- A team player who is focused on providing great customer service.
- Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
- High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
Responsibilities
- Align with company programs and benchmarks. Champion one another's growth to achieve more together.
- Provide a professional and welcoming first impression of Camp Chevrolet.
- Perform minor maintenance, e.g., changing engine oil and filters.
- Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels.
- Communicate appropriate customer vehicle maintenance recommendations to the service advisor.
- Complete multi-point inspections and video walkarounds
- Road-test vehicles to verify quality of work
- Stay current on required OEM and manufacturer training
