About The Position

Valvoline Instant Oil Change is hiring an entry-level Lube Technician to perform preventative maintenance services and provide customer service in a collaborative team environment. Previous automotive experience is not required; employees receive hands-on training through an award-winning training program. The role is at 1407 Beasie Road, Murfreesboro, TN 37128. The position pays $16.75 per hour with weekly pay. The company offers potential career progression to Service Center Manager within 18–24 months, paid credit hours at Wilmington University, health and wellbeing benefits, paid time off availability, and employee perks. Requirements

Be able to review, read, and understand written and digital training materials, safety procedures, labels, and operational instructions.
Be fluent in English in reading, writing, and speaking.
Be able to stand for up to 8 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Be able to crouch, bend, twist, and work with hands above the head.
Be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests.
Perform preventative maintenance services on vehicles, including changing oil; checking and refilling fluids; rotating tires; testing and replacing batteries; inspecting and replacing lights and wipers; and performing an 18-point maintenance check.
Complete other preventative maintenance services as trained.
