About The Position

Grease Monkey is seeking a dependable, motivated Key Holder for its Quick Oil Change team. The Key Holder opens and closes the service center, supports daily operations, helps maintain efficient workflow, and ensures customers receive friendly, efficient service. The role includes performing and overseeing oil changes and other minor vehicle services, handling store security and cash procedures, and training and mentoring employees.

Requirements

Prior experience in a service or retail environment.
Strong work ethic, dependability, high integrity, and attention to detail.
Basic mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn.
Ability to manage time and multitask in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
Must pass the company background check.
Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

Automotive experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Unlock and secure the location at the beginning and end of shifts.
When the Center Manager is absent, make daily bank deposits and secure the location safe.
Secure register cash and close the store safe according to established protocols.
Assist in leading daily operations and maintaining workflow efficiency.
Perform and oversee oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and other minor vehicle services.
Maintain supplies inventory and report needs to the Center Manager.
Uphold health, safety, and cleanliness standards in service bays and customer areas.
Provide outstanding customer service and resolve basic issues or complaints.
Report anomalies to the Center Manager or, when the Center Manager is absent, the Assistant Store Manager.
Escalate unresolved safety, store security, or team member behavior matters to the District Manager when necessary.
Train and mentor new employees.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
