About The Position

The Lube Technician Key Holder supports daily operations at a quick oil change service center. The role includes opening and closing the location, helping lead the team and maintain efficient workflows, and performing and overseeing minor vehicle services. The Key Holder also handles specified cash and security procedures, maintains service and customer areas, supports inventory needs, provides customer service, and trains new employees. The position requires flexible availability, including weekends.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a service or retail environment.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, high integrity, and attention to detail.
• Basic mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn.
• Ability to manage time and multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Must pass a company background check.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Unlock and secure the location at the beginning and end of shifts.
• In the Center Manager’s absence, make daily bank deposits and secure the location safe.
• Secure register cash and close the store safe according to established protocols.
• Assist in leading daily operations and ensuring workflow efficiency.
• Perform and oversee oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and other minor vehicle services.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and report needs to the Center Manager.
• Uphold health, safety, and cleanliness standards in service bays and customer areas.
• Provide outstanding customer service and resolve basic issues or complaints.
• Report anomalies to the Center Manager or, in the Center Manager’s absence, the Assistant Store Manager.
• Escalate unresolved safety, store security, or team member behavior matters to the District Manager when necessary.
• Train and mentor new employees.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
