Under direction of the LSP Manager, manages and operates (2) limited-secure facilities, including the care, custody, safety and welfare of youth in the Crest LSP and Fanshaw LSP. Responsibilities include: carrying out, interpreting, coordinating and enforcing existing institutional policies and procedures for the program; problem solving; preparing, approving, reviewing and maintaining institutional records and reports. This position requires flexible hours and will require working some nights, weekends and holidays. The LSP Assistant Manager has Supervisory oversight of (2) six bed LSP Cottages. The Assistant Manager shows dedication and willingness to work alongside the Integrated Treatment Model (ITM), supporting and carrying out the functions of the model to best serve the population. The Assistant Manager is expected to have a nonjudgmental approach that focuses on skill building and basic principles of behavior (reinforcement, extinction, blocking and shaping). The Assistant Manager is required to function as part of a team, committing to modeling pro social behavior and building positive relationships with all residents.
