About The Position

Dayton Gastroenterology is seeking a full-time LPN to join their clinic in Beavercreek, OH. The position offers a consistent Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule with no nights, weekends, or holidays, promoting a healthy work-life balance. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current LPN license required.
• Previous experience working as an LPN required.
• BLS certified required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working in a medical office environment preferred.
• Previous Medical Assistant experience
• Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and documents all information in patient’s chart.
• Collect specimens for laboratory analysis, as applicable.
• Obtain, verify, and record health history of patients.
• Assist the physician with office visits.
• Must be able to assist physician in an emergency.
• Manage patient prescriptions as directed by physician.
• Manage referrals as directed by physician.
• Answer patient questions.
• Notify patients of test results
• Assist with scheduling office visits, procedures, laboratory tests, x-rays, outpatient testing, hospital admissions and appointments as necessary.
