About The Position

Freedom Square of Seminole is seeking patient-centered LPN staff nurses to care for residents in its skilled nursing center. The role is responsible for accurate and timely medication and treatment administration, documentation, and responding to emergency call lights. Nurses work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment and are expected to provide extraordinary care and maintain high standards of professionalism and accountability.

The community is an upscale senior living and life care community in Seminole, Florida, where residents may transition among independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing as their needs change. Available full-time shifts are 3 p.m.–11 p.m. and 11 p.m.–7 a.m. The 3 p.m.–11 p.m. shift offers a $6,500 sign-on bonus; the 11 p.m.–7 a.m. shift is 32 hours per week and offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Pay is up to $34 per hour, based on years of experience and shift differential.

Requirements

• Current nursing license with the state of Florida.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of nursing experience is preferred.
• Geriatric involvement is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments to residents.
• Assist with the admission and discharge process.
• Keep physicians and families informed of changes in residents’ conditions.
• Make rounds with physicians and transcribe orders.
• Assure continuity of services and care.
• Document care accurately and in a timely manner.
• Respond to emergency call lights.
