About The Position
We are a dedicated pediatric practice committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to children from infancy through adolescence. Our team values professionalism, empathy, and teamwork, and we’re looking for a nurse who shares our passion for helping families and supporting children’s health and wellness. We are seeking a licensed and caring Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our pediatric team. This role involves working closely with our pediatricians, staff, and families to provide exceptional clinical support and ensure a welcoming experience for our patients. Both full-time and part-time applicants are welcome to apply.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in Connecticut
- Current BLS certification
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in pediatrics strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, family-focused environment
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including vital signs, vaccinations, specimen collection, and administering medications
- Assist with patient intake and documentation in the EHR
- Educate parents and caregivers on child health, wellness, and treatment plans
- Support physicians during examinations and minor procedures
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report concerns
- Maintain clean and organized clinical areas in compliance with infection control protocols
- Participate in care coordination and follow-up with families
- Telephone triage as needed
