About The Position

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of different programs throughout Arizona. CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness. CBI is the premiere non-profit fully integrated healthcare provider of substance use and behavioral health programs in Arizona, including prevention, education and treatment using cutting-edge, nationally recognized, evidence-based models. Community Bridges is currently seeking a full time Licensed Practical Nurse to provide integrated behavioral health care at our multiple crisis and inpatient units.

Requirements

Associate degree from an accredited school of nursing required.
1-3 years of Health Care related experience where his or her prior experience would provide adequate exposure to both behavioral and medical crisis situations preferred.
Currently licensed without restriction with the Arizona Board of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse according to A.R.S. Title 32, Chapter 15.
Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) in accordance with A.A.C. R9-10-101.33 and CBI Clinical Policies and Procedures.
Valid identification required
Valid Arizona (or Compact) Board of Nursing License Practical Nurse licensure (current and in good standing without restrictions).

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school of nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible for all delegated nursing care provided to their assigned patients by the assigned Registered Nurse (RN) on duty.
Carrying out orders from the medical practitioner.
Communicating any barriers to providing service immediately to the RN and the attending medical practitioner.
