About The Position

Vierra Falls Church, a Vierra Communities property, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate resident care in a skilled nursing community. The role includes direct resident care, supervision of non-licensed team members’ resident-care work, coordination of residents’ health and wellness needs, and collaboration with family members and community physicians. The nurse is expected to support quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and high standards of personalized care and service. This is a full-time, non-exempt, essential-personnel position scheduled for 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.; weekend shift differentials are offered.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Active, unrestricted LPN license.
• Active CPR/BLS certification.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.

Nice To Haves

• Long-term care experience is preferred.
• One to two years of experience in skilled nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care and supervise resident-care work performed by non-licensed team members in skilled nursing operations and other appropriate areas of the community.
• Support quality assurance and regulatory compliance while promoting high-quality care and service.
• Coordinate residents’ health and wellness needs.
• Work closely with family members and consult with community physicians to ensure residents’ needs are met in a personalized way.
• Speak, read, and write in English.
