LPN - Full Time - Neuroscience (Night Shift)

About The Position
The LPN is responsible and accountable for a group of patients during a designated time frame, providing care through therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment and instrumentation, and other health care team members. The position supervises the activities of Certified Nursing Assistants, Nurse Technicians, and Unit Assistants. The schedule is 36 hours per week, with a 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. shift. Weekend and holiday availability is required.
Requirements
- Successfully completed a Board Certified Nursing Program.
- Current Louisiana LPN licensure.
- Current BLS certification through an ILCOR-provided course, including a manikin check-off.
- IV Therapy certification.
- Additional certification requirements may vary by department.
- Ability to meet weekend and holiday requirements.
- Good physical health; able to stand, sit, or walk for long periods.
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds and work with a moderate level of noise.
