About The Position
Promotes and maintains the health of designated patients by implementing and assisting in coordination of quality patient care under the direction of an RN or physician.
Requirements
- At Mobile Infirmary Medical Center (MIMC) graduate of an LPN program
- At Thomas Hospital (TH), North Baldwin Infirmary (NBI), and Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) participation in a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program, with successful passage of the NCLEX PN examination
- BLS
- Current Alabama LPN license OR Current Multi State LPN License in accordance with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama
- Infirmary Health abides by the NLC requirements and guidelines for the state of Alabama
Nice To Haves
- Associate Degree
- Working knowledge of area
- Advanced certifications such as IV
