About The Position

The LPN uses the nursing process to provide care for patients at Advocate Medical Center. The role helps maintain a clean, orderly, safe, and quiet environment to support patient comfort and contentment, and provides supportive care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
• Successfully complete a Pharmacology exam.
• Hold current American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support certification, recertified annually.
• Complete the competency checklist within the first 90 days of employment.
• Complete unit-specific recommendations within one year.
• Hold current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the applicable state for the job location.

• Previous experience in a hospital or medical office.
