PRN LPN - 2nd & 3rd Shift
About The Position
ROSE SENIOR LIVING AVON is recruiting a hospitality-focused Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and delegate and supervise care provided by Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants. The role is PRN and covers second and third shifts. The LPN supports residents’ daily living and social needs, promotes independence, monitors health and behavioral changes, and helps develop and reassess care plans. The position also coordinates nursing care with other disciplines and reports on community conditions, staff performance, resident needs, and nursing supplies to the Director of Health Services.
Requirements
- Hold a current nursing license valid in the state where the job is performed.
- For third shift, have leadership skills to ensure care partners comply with requirements.
- Have experience with memory care and assisted living.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and family/social activities, and promote residents’ independent lifestyles.
- Identify medical and behavioral changes in residents; develop and monitor care plans and reassess residents.
- Provide daily reports to the Director of Health Services on community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and nursing supply needs.
- Provide nursing care according to physicians’ orders, recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
- Ensure residents receive preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services, and coordinate nursing care with services provided by other disciplines.
- Delegate and supervise care provided by Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants.
