PT LPN 3rd Shift
About The Position
Rose Senior Living Avon is seeking a hospitality-focused Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and delegate and supervise care provided by Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants. The position is part-time, third shift, from 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The LPN supports residents’ daily living and social activities while promoting independence, monitors resident medical and behavioral changes, and develops and monitors care plans. The role also provides nursing care in accordance with physician orders, recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies, and coordinates care with other disciplines.
Requirements
- Hold a current nursing license valid in the state where the position is located.
- Have previous experience working with the senior population.
- Be enthusiastic, compassionate, and passionate about hospitality and senior engagement.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and family and social activities, and promote residents’ independent lifestyles.
- Identify changes in residents’ medical and behavioral conditions; develop and monitor care plans; and reassess residents.
- Provide a daily report to the Director of Health Services regarding community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and nursing supply needs.
- Provide nursing care according to physician orders, recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
- Ensure preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services for residents and coordinate nursing care with services provided by other disciplines.
- Delegate and supervise care provided by Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants.
