About The Position

Rose Senior Living Avon is recruiting a hospitality-focused Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The position provides direct nursing care to residents and delegates and supervises care provided by Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants. This is a part-time third-shift position scheduled from 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Requirements

• Hold a current nursing license valid in the state where the position is located.
• Have previous experience working with the senior population.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and family and social activities, and promote residents’ independent lifestyles.
• Identify medical and behavioral changes in residents; develop and monitor care plans; and reassess each resident.
• Provide daily reports to the Director of Health Services about community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and nursing-supply needs.
• Provide nursing care according to physician orders, recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
• Ensure residents receive preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services.
• Coordinate nursing care with services provided by other disciplines.
• Delegate and supervise care provided by Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants.
