About The Position

Wesley Village in Macomb, Illinois, is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse to join its night-shift nursing team. Wesley Village is a retirement community offering skilled nursing, long-term care, short-term rehabilitation, memory care, independent living, and services at home. The LPN provides attentive, individualized care and helps residents feel comfortable and supported.

Requirements

Active Illinois LPN license.
Current CPR certification.
Dependability, sound nursing judgment, and commitment to quality care.
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Comfort using computers for clinical documentation.
Ability to perform essential job duties, with or without reasonable accommodation, including lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Dementia care experience.

Responsibilities

Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
Complete assessments, provide wound care, and monitor changes in residents’ conditions within the scope of practice.
Communicate concerns to physicians and follow through on orders.
Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies.
Work with CNAs to support daily care, mobility, and resident preferences.
Delegate appropriately and follow up to ensure care is completed.
Maintain accurate, timely electronic documentation.
Communicate respectfully with residents, families, and coworkers.
