About The Position

Wesley Village in Macomb, Illinois, is seeking a dependable, compassionate LPN for its night shift nursing team at a retirement community that provides skilled nursing, long-term care, short-term rehabilitation, memory care, independent living, and services at home. The nurse will provide attentive, individualized care, build relationships with residents, and help them feel comfortable and supported during the night shift. The position is part-time, with a schedule of 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. and every third weekend. Requirements

Active Illinois LPN license.
Current CPR certification.
Dependability, sound nursing judgment, and a commitment to quality care.
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Comfort using computers for clinical documentation.
Ability to perform essential job duties, with or without reasonable accommodation, including lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.

Dementia care experience.

Responsibilities

Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
Complete assessments, provide wound care, and monitor changes in residents’ conditions within the scope of practice.
Communicate concerns to physicians and follow through on orders.
Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies.
Work closely with CNAs to support daily care, mobility, and resident preferences.
Delegate appropriately and follow up to ensure care is completed.
Maintain accurate, timely electronic documentation.
Communicate respectfully with residents, families, and coworkers.
