About The Position
Palmettos of Parklane is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to oversee clinical operations during the overnight shift in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation environment. This leadership role focuses on resident care, team development, and maintaining high standards of clinical care. The position is full-time and works the night shift from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM in Columbia, South Carolina.
Requirements
- Current South Carolina LPN license in good standing.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Nice To Haves
- Previous long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience.
- Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to nursing staff during the overnight shift.
- Ensure quality resident care and compliance with facility policies and procedures.
- Monitor resident conditions and respond appropriately to changes in health status.
- Support and mentor CNAs and nursing team members.
- Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and physician communications.
- Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote positive resident outcomes.
- Serve as the clinical resource and point of contact during the assigned shift.
