In this role, you'll oversee nursing staff, support quality resident care, and help ensure compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License required
  • Current CPR Certification required
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and support nursing staff
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree preferred
  • Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervise nursing staff and support the delivery of high-quality resident care
  • Administer medications, treatments, and nursing services in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
  • Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions, documentation, and communication occur
  • Collaborate with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to support individualized care plans
  • Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to nursing staff to promote professional growth and teamwork
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, infection control practices, and facility policies
  • Maintain accurate documentation of resident care, treatments, and clinical outcomes
  • Address clinical concerns, staffing issues, and resident care needs to ensure continuity of care
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
