LPN/RN Weekend Warrior Full Time 3rd shift
About The Position
Anna Maria of Aurora Inc. is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse for a full-time Weekend Warrior position at its skilled nursing facility in Aurora, Ohio. The role is on the 3rd shift, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The facility describes itself as a 5-star, family-owned organization that has served the community for more than 60 years and offers a supportive workplace with long-tenured staff. The nurse delivers and oversees resident care, administers prescribed medications and treatments, supports and supervises STNAs, communicates with physicians and families, monitors residents’ conditions, maintains accurate documentation, helps ensure a safe and compliant environment, and assists with staff orientation and training. The posted salary range is $42.00–$53.00 per hour; the description specifies earnings up to $46 per hour for LPNs and up to $53 per hour for RNs.
Requirements
- Current, active Ohio license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
- Current CPR certification.
- At least one year of experience in short-term rehabilitation, a hospital, or long-term care.
- Strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and oversee resident care in accordance with regulations and facility standards.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Supervise and support STNA team members.
- Communicate with physicians and families about resident status and changes.
- Monitor resident conditions and respond to clinical needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and charting.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and compliant care environment.
- Assist with staff orientation and training.
